David Gilbert, Independent Non-Executive Director
David Gilbert was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in January 2009. During a 25 year career with DSG International David’s roles included Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director of Currys Group and Group Marketing Director with responsibility for the Currys and Dixons brands.
More recently David has served as Managing Director of Waterstones Bookstores and was employed by Goldman Sachs Private Equity to chair their investment in a German drugstore chain, lhr Platz.
Currently David’s interests focus on the online retail space where he serves as Chairman of CultureLabel.com and is the founder and investor at Reevoo.com. He is also Trustee and Patron on the Contemporary Arts Society and a Board member of ARTCO at the Arts Council of England.
